I finally got through making tension swatches for the Myrtle coat & casted on! I had to try a few needles sizes because I am using Noro Shinano in color #12 which has a slightly bigger gauge than Silk Garden or Kureyon. I ended up using # 7's. So far so good....I love the way the Shinano is knitting up. I think it will look great in this pattern.

I am also waiting for some skeins of yarn from Handpaintedyarn.com. I got some of the "Mango" color of the kettle dyed pure merino. I am hoping to make a Clapotis for my sister. It needs to be done in time for her birthday next month so I will probably be casting on as soon as I get the yarn.
